Corran Ferry Bunkhouse

Weekend Meets

Weekend meets are normally based on three nights away, and offer a great variety of highland and island-based hill-activity, in some classic locations, with a choice of high and low-level walking, scrambling and climbing.

In addition to the outdoor activities, the meets offer a great opportunity to get to know other members in a convivial atmosphere. We use a variety of accommodation – club properties, other club’s huts, hostels, bunkhouses, and campsites, with the option of hotels or self-catering, where available.

You do not need to make a big commitment straight away as non-members are welcome to attend up to two of our Day or Weekend Meets as a guest before committing to join the Club.

This weekend meet will be based at the Corran Ferry Bunkhouse, 14km south of Fort William on the A82

Corran Bunkhouse, a 5 star rated hostel by Visit Scotland, is situated on the banks of Loch Linnhe, in central Lochaber and is located at the heart of the Nevis Range, the Mamores and the Glen Coe mountain ranges. It is located eight miles south of Fort William and seven miles north of Glen Coe.

The Bunkhouse is ideal for walking, climbing, skiing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking as well as for those who love the great outdoors. It’s an ideal base for any season.
