It’s Up to Us – Update

A talk by Dougie Baird, the CEO of the Open Access Trust for Scotland (OATS)

Dougie will join us to provide an update on the “It’s Up To Us” campaign. It’s Up to Us is a joint campaign between Mountaineering Scotland and OATS to raise awareness of the desperate need for investment in the repair and maintenance of informal mountain paths to protect the fragile mountain environment and for the safety of path users. Dougie will update on the work done to date, plans for the future and how clubs and hill walkers can continue to support the campaign. This is an ideal time for Dougie to come and speak to us with It’s up to Us, a 3 year campaign, celebrating its one-year anniversary recently, having raised £218,000 of the £300,000 target in the first 12 months.
