Ullapool Hostel

Weekend Meets

Weekend meets are normally based on three nights away, and offer a great variety of highland and island-based hill-activity, in some classic locations, with a choice of high and low-level walking, scrambling and climbing.

In addition to the outdoor activities, the meets offer a great opportunity to get to know other members in a convivial atmosphere. We use a variety of accommodation – club properties, other club’s huts, hostels, bunkhouses, and campsites, with the option of hotels or self-catering, where available.

You do not need to make a big commitment straight away as non-members are welcome to attend up to two of our Day or Weekend Meets as a guest before committing to join the Club.

This weekend meet will be based at the Ullapool Youth Hostel on Shore Street, Ullapool.

From its spectacular seafront location on the NC500, Ullapool Youth Hostel offers wonderful, ever-changing views over Loch Broom and the Beinn Dearg mountain range.

Perfect for groups, this warm and welcoming hostel offers guests a variety of room types, all of which can be booked as private rooms. Only one of the rooms is en-suite but there are ample shower and washroom facilities.
